1. A method for creating and transmitting a rich one-time password (RichOTP) message comprising a one-time password (OTP) and a brand identity, said method employing a RichOTP application executable by at least one processor configured to execute computer program instructions for performing said methods, comprising:
receiving, by said RichOTP application, a short message service (SMS) message from a brand;
determining, by said RichOTP application, if a mobile number of a user is enabled for one or more rich messaging platforms;
upon determining that said mobile number of said user is enabled for said one or more rich messaging platforms, determining, by said RichOTP application, if said brand is registered for sending said RichOTP message;
upon determining that said brand is registered for sending said RichOTP message, identifying, by said RichOTP application, whether said SMS message received by said RichOTP application contains said OTP or not;
upon identifying that the received SMS message contains said OTP, using a reviewed and approved template for sending said RichOTP message, by said RichOTP application;
creating said RichOTP message based on said reviewed and approved template by said RichOTP application, wherein said created RichOTP message comprises a message, a verification mark, a brand name, a brand logo, a brand icon of the brand involved in a transaction with said user, the OTP, copy button, confirm button and report fraud button; and
transmitting said RichOTP message created by said RichOTP application to said mobile number of said user over a network, by said RichOTP application.
