1. A method of a terminal device, the method comprising:
initiating, to an Access and Mobility Management Function/SEcurity Anchor Function (AMF/SEAF) node via an access network, a registration procedure for sending capability information of the terminal device related to an authentication method to cause an Unified Data Management (UDM) node to select the authentication method based on the capability information received from the AMF/SEAF node via an Authentication Server Function (AUSF) node; and
receiving, from the UDM node via the AUSF node, the AMF/SEAF node and the access network, security information based on the authentication method selected by the UDM node.
