1. A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer, the negative electrode active material layer including: a negative electrode active material including graphite particles; and at least one SBR component selected from the group consisting of a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and a modified product thereof,
wherein the graphite particles have a porosity due to closed pores of 1% to 5%, the negative electrode active material layer has a porosity due to voids between particles of 10% to 20%, and the negative electrode active material layer has a content of the SBR component of 1.5 mass % to 3 mass % based on a mass of the negative electrode active material, and
wherein the negative electrode active material has a saturated tap density of 0.8 g/cm3 to 1.2 g/cm3.
