1. A device comprising:
a member having:
a substantially opaque region comprising:
a first substrate substantially transparent in the visible spectrum,
a first layer disposed in a first direction relative the first substrate, the first layer substantially opaque in the visible spectrum, and
a second layer disposed in a second direction relative the first substrate, the second layer substantially reflective in the visible spectrum, the second direction opposite the first direction; and
a sensor opening region defined by an absence of the first layer, the sensor opening region comprising:
the first substrate,
a third layer having a high refractive index, the third layer disposed in the first direction relative the first substrate, and
the second layer disposed in the second direction relative the third layer;
wherein:
when viewed from the second direction:
the difference between a total light reflectance of the member at the substantially opaque region and at the sensor opening region is less than five percent, and
the difference between a color reflectance of the member at the substantially opaque region and at the sensor opening region is less than 5 ΔC* units; and
a sensor disposed in the first direction of the sensor opening region of the member is operable to receive light through the member at the sensor opening region.
