1. A medical system comprising: processing circuitry configured to: receive pathological image data that is produced by imaging one observation target object and that includes first and second image data, the second image data relating to the observation target object but being different from the first image data; cause a display to display thereon the first image data and the second image data; and apply an annotation to each of the first image data and the second image data on a basis of input by a user, wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to set control points that include a plurality of points on the annotation, and to interpolate the control points using a predetermined method, and wherein a difference between the first image data and the second image data is a resolution of the first image data and the second image data, and intervals among the control points are each determined in accordance with the resolution of the second image data.
