1. A method comprising:
capturing voice data associated with a plurality of speakers;
generating, from the voice data, a transcript of the voice data;
segmenting the transcript into a plurality of segments;
generating metadata for each segment of the plurality of segments, wherein the metadata for a respective segment of the plurality of segments comprises an identifier that identifies a speaker of the plurality of speakers associated with the respective segment;
generating event tags for the plurality of segments, wherein generating event tags for the plurality of segments comprises using the metadata for the respective segment of the plurality of segments to classify the respective segment as corresponding to one event category of a plurality of event categories; and
populating an electronic health record for a patient with a plurality of items, each item of the plurality of items characterizing an event associated with the patient, wherein populating the electronic health record for the patient comprises organizing the event tags based on the plurality of event categories.
