1. An apparatus comprising:
at least one processor to:
receive a signal representative of an identifier associated with a user from a transmitter of a bracelet;
detect a current flowing through the bracelet;
detect whether the identifier is valid, and in response to the identifier being valid, determine if the user is located within an approved gaming area;
determine whether to provide an access to a gaming system based on at least in part on the identifier being valid and the current flowing through the bracelet; and
wherein the at least one processor is further configured to generate a visual or audible signal that indicates the user is located within the approved gaming area.
