1. A device, comprising:
at least one processor; and
storage accessible to the at least one processor and comprising instructions executable by the at least one processor to:
present a settings graphical user interface (GUI) on a display, the settings GUI being usable to configure one or more settings of the device to operate to determine device errors and to load associated error codes onto a radio-frequency identification (RFID) chip, the settings GUI comprising at least first and second settings options, the first settings option being selectable to grant permission to a first application to load error codes onto the RFID chip responsive to determinations that device errors have occurred, the second settings option being selectable to grant permission to a second application to load error codes onto the RFID chip responsive to determinations that device errors have occurred, the second application being different from the first application;
determine that a first device error has occurred; and
based on the determination, load an error code onto the RFID chip, the error code corresponding to the first device error.
