1. An apparatus comprising:
memory that stores executable instructions;
a storage comprising a plurality of regions; and
processing circuitry configured to execute the instructions from the memory, causing the processing circuitry to:
count a number of changes to a first region of the plurality of regions storing a first portion of a plurality of portions of a logical-to-physical (L2P) table of a memory device, wherein each portion of the plurality of portions of the L2P table comprises a plurality of L2P mappings;
compare the number of changes to the first region to a threshold;
create an obfuscated L2P table of the first portion of the L2P table stored on the first region based on the number of changes to the region being beyond the threshold; and
store the obfuscated L2P table of the first portion of the L2P table on the storage, wherein the processing circuitry is configured to create the obfuscated L2P table of the first portion of the L2P table prior to a request from a host for L2P mappings of the first portion of the L2P table.
