1. A method of wireless positioning performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
reporting, to a network entity, a minimum number of symbols of a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource of a first transmission-reception point (TRP) of a pair of TRPs based on a reference signal time difference (RSTD) uncertainty parameter for the pair of TRPs, wherein the minimum number of symbols is less than a total number of symbols allocated for the PRS resource, and wherein the minimum number of symbols meets T*1000*M/(S*N) nanoseconds greater than a value of the RSTD uncertainty parameter, where T is a length in microseconds of a slot containing the PRS resource, M is the minimum number of symbols, S is a number of symbols per slot, and N is a comb size of the PRS resource within the slot; and
performing a positioning measurement of the minimum number of symbols of the PRS resource.
