1. An apparatus comprising:
a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver;
an oscillator; and
a GPS simulator coupled to the GPS receiver and the oscillator;
wherein the GPS receiver is configured to:
receive at least one of an L1 GPS signal or an L2 GPS signal;
generate, using the at least one of the L1 GPS signal or L2 GPS signal, a first timing signal and a position signal; and
provide, to the GPS simulator, the first timing signal and the position signal;
wherein the oscillator is configured to:
generate a second timing signal; and
provide, to the GPS simulator, the second timing signal;
wherein the GPS simulator is configured to:
when the at least one of the L1 GPS signal or L2 GPS signal are received by the GPS receiver:
generate a first simulated GPS signal based on the first timing signal and the position signal received from the GPS receiver; and
when the at least one of the L1 GPS signal or L2 GPS signal are not received by the GPS receiver:
generate a second simulated GPS signal based on the second timing signal received from the oscillator.
