1. A method of analyzing a ground-based augmentation system (GBAS) signal, the method comprising:
transmitting a GBAS signal that comprises at least one GBAS message burst, wherein the GBAS signal comprises several frames, wherein each frame is assigned to eight time slots, and wherein the at least one GBAS message burst is transmitted within one of the eight time slots;
receiving and decoding the GBAS signal with the GBAS message burst, wherein the GBAS message burst is a partly filled burst; and
performing a power measurement at all symbol times of the GBAS message burst, wherein the power measurement is performed over the entire length of the GBAS message burst such that all occurring symbol times within the GBAS message burst are taken into consideration for performing the power measurement, thereby ensuring that all occurring deviations or fluctuations in the power during the GBAS message burst are considered, and wherein the power measurement is performed only at the symbol times;
wherein the GBAS message burst comprises less than 633 symbols and wherein less than 633 symbols are taken into account for the power measurement since the power measurement is done only at the symbol times of the complete GBAS message burst.
