1. An apparatus for managing a plurality of lines, the apparatus comprising:
a plurality of receiving grooves, wherein each receiving groove includes an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion and one line of the plurality of lines is inserted into one receiving groove of the plurality of receiving grooves so that the plurality of lines being managed are positioned individually in one of the plurality of receiving grooves; and
at least one receiving groove, which is selected from the plurality of receiving grooves, includes a stop groove positioned below the lower portion of the at least one receiving groove and wherein a first line, which is selected from the plurality of lines and positioned in the lower portion of the at least one receiving groove, is pressed down into the stop groove to cause the first line to engage the stop groove in order to lock the apparatus onto the first line thereby preventing sliding movement of the apparatus along a length of the first line and hence along lengths of the plurality of lines being managed.
