1. A method for using produced water (PW), comprising:
performing ultrafiltration on the PW to form filtered PW;
filtering seawater (SW) to form filtered SW, wherein the filtering of the seawater is not performed by reverse osmosis; and
blending the filtered PW with the filtered SW at a controlled ratio of the filtered PW to the filtered SW to form an aqueous blend suitable for use in forming a fracturing fluid, wherein the controlled ratio corresponds to a ratio that is controlled based on an ionic concentration of the aqueous blend.
