1. A method comprising:
generating an algorithmic model of a first therapy field based on user input to a control interface of a user interface,
wherein the algorithmic model of the first therapy field represents where electrical stimulation therapy propagates from a therapy system to a neural tissue region of a patient, and
wherein the user input to the control interface is configured to directly control in real-time at least one of a size, a shape, or a position presented on a display of a graphical representation of the algorithmic model of a first therapy field;
determining, by a processor, a reference therapy field, wherein the reference therapy field is associated with a patient condition; and
comparing, by the processor, the algorithmic model of the first therapy field to the reference therapy field;
generating, by the processor, at least one metric that indicates a similarity between the reference therapy field and the first therapy field based on the comparison.
