1. A component for a patient interface that directs a supply of pressurised air or breathable gas to an entrance of a patient's airway comprising:
a textile portion including a knitted structure defining gaps in the textile portion; and
a plastic portion over-moulded to the textile portion, wherein the plastic portion is overmoulded to the textile portion such that at least a part of the plastic portion passes through the gaps of the knitted structure to form mechanical connections between the textile portion and the plastic portion.
