1. A monitor device for an ostomy system, the monitor device comprising:
a processor;
a memory;
a first interface connected to the processor and the memory, the first interface configured for obtaining data from a base plate of the ostomy system that is coupled to the first interface, the data comprising:
primary leakage data indicative of resistance between a first electrode pair in a primary angular sensing zone of the base plate, the primary angular sensing zone defined by a primary angle space from a center point of a first adhesive layer of the base plate; and
secondary leakage data indicative of resistance between a second electrode pair in a secondary angular sensing zone of the base plate, the secondary angular sensing zone defined by a secondary angle space from the center point of the first adhesive layer that is different from the primary angle space, wherein an electrode of the first electrode pair is an electrode of the second electrode pair; and
a second interface connected to the processor, wherein the processor is configured to:
obtain primary leakage parameter data based on the primary leakage data;
obtain secondary leakage parameter data based on the secondary leakage data;
detect presence of liquid on a proximal side of the first adhesive layer of the base plate in the primary angular sensing zone based on the primary leakage parameter data, wherein the proximal side of the first adhesive layer is configured for attachment to a skin surface of a user;
detect presence of liquid on the proximal side of the first adhesive layer in the secondary angular sensing zone based on the secondary leakage parameter data;
in accordance with a detection of presence of liquid in the primary angular sensing zone, transmit a primary leakage monitor signal comprising monitor data indicative of presence of liquid in the primary angular sensing zone via the second interface; and
in accordance with a detection of presence of liquid in the secondary angular sensing zone, transmit a secondary leakage monitor signal comprising monitor data indicative of presence of liquid in the secondary angular sensing zone via the second interface.
