1. A dishwasher comprising:
a main body that defines a washing space configured to receive an object to be washed;
a door configured to open and close the washing space;
a water jacket disposed at a side wall of the main body and configured to store water for washing the object;
a water softener connected to the water jacket and configured to soften the water supplied from the water jacket;
a sump connected to the water softener and disposed at a bottom of the washing space, the sump being configured to collect water in the washing space; and
a nozzle connected to the sump and configured to spray water into the washing space,
wherein the water softener comprises:
a tank body comprising:
a regeneration tank configured to accommodate brine,
an exchange tank configured to accommodate an ion exchange resin, and
a flow path configured to supply water to the regeneration tank and the exchange tank, the flow path including a regeneration inlet in fluid communication with the regeneration tank and an exchange inlet in fluid communication with the exchange tank,
a switching valve disposed at the tank body and configured to selectively open and close the regeneration inlet or the exchange inlet to thereby switch the flow path, the switching valve comprising a head configured to open and close the regeneration inlet and the exchange inlet, and
a sealing protrusion that protrudes from a circumference of the regeneration inlet toward the regeneration inlet, the sealing protrusion being configured to contact the head based on the head closing the regeneration inlet, and
wherein the sealing protrusion comprises:
a rounded part that extends radially outward from the circumference of the regeneration inlet and extends around a protruding end of the sealing protrusion, the protruding end being configured to contact the head, and
an inclined part that extends radially outward from an outer end of the rounded part in a direction inclined with respect to a surface of the head.
