AS A RESULT OF REEXAMINATION, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT:
Claim 1 is determined to be patentable as amended.
Claims 2 and 3, dependent on an amended claim, are determined to be patentable.
1. A high strength polymer-based linked cartridge casing inclosing a volume, comprising:
a first end having a mouth;
a neck extending away from the mouth;
a shoulder extending below the neck and away from the first end;
a primer pocket disposed at a second end opposite the first end;
a body extending below the shoulder, comprising:
a finger integrally disposed [ molded ] on a first side of the body having a length;
at least two fingers integrally disposed [ molded ] on a second side of the body; and
a pawl catch integrally disposed [ molded ] on a third side of the body,
wherein the at least two fingers are spaced from each other a distance approximately equal to the length, and
wherein the at least two fingers are configured to engage a finger disposed on a second cartridge, and
a flash hole disposed between the first and second end.
