1. A method, comprising:
verifying, by an enterprise network, that a destination address stored in a destination address field of a header of a Short Message Service message (SMS) message sent from an origination device is associated with a destination device in response to a landline telephone number of the destination device being associated with a dummy record that authorizes transmission of an SMS message and prevents voices services;
modifying, by the enterprise network, the destination address of the SMS message to change the destination address from the landline telephone number of the destination device to a mobile telephone number of the destination device;
modifying, by the enterprise network, an origination address of the SMS message to change the origination address from a mobile telephone number of the origination device to a landline telephone number corresponding to the origination device; and
routing, by the enterprise network, the modified SMS message to the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the modified SMS message comprising the mobile telephone number associated with the destination device, the landline telephone number of the origination device, and a message field containing contents of the modified SMS message.
