1. An image processing device, comprising:
an image rotation unit configured to rotate a display image based on image data photographed by an imaging unit on a display plane step by step after a first rotation by a first angle, wherein the image rotation unit performs rotation of the first angle in the first rotation and performs rotation of a predetermined angle in second and subsequent rotations until an end point of a rotation range;
a determination unit configured to determine a horizontal direction of a photographing angle of the imaging unit based on, for each of the rotated display images, a number of pixels of a specific color included in the display image along a scanning line direction within the display plane.
