1. An apparatus, comprising:
a Radio Frequency (RF) signal generator configured to produce a plurality of RF signals phase shifted relative to one another in accordance with RF waveform parameters; and
a plurality of amplifier chains configured to process the plurality of RF signals to produce a plurality of channels of amplified RF signals, wherein each amplifier chain includes a plurality of solid state amplifiers each of which has a tunable gate voltage that turns on or off a respective amplifier, and wherein the tunable gate voltage is derived from an automatic calibration operation that utilizes a feedback of a current flowing in a drain of the respective amplifier.
