1. A control device comprising:
an actuator;
a button comprising:
a translucent button body, the button body having a post extending from a rear surface of the button body and aligned with the actuator and having a plurality of spaced apart lenses disposed on the rear surface of the button body to disperse light; and
a veneer disposed upon a front surface of the button body and including an area forming an indicia, the veneer being opaque to block transmission of light through the veneer except for the area forming the indicia; and
a button lighting circuit and an associated lighting element.
