1. A wireless access point (WAP) within a wireless network, the WAP comprising:
a processor configured to:
structure a plurality of physical layer (PHY) operational parameters into a first group of PHY operational parameters and a second group of PHY operational parameters in response to the wireless network experiencing a first level of congestion, and
restructure the first group of PHY operational parameters to include a first PHY operational parameter from among the second group of PHY operational parameters or the second group of PHY operational parameters to include a second PHY operational parameter from among the first group of PHY operational parameters in response to the wireless network experiencing a second level of congestion that is different from the first level of congestion; and
a PHY device configured to utilize the second group of PHY operational parameters to communicate wireless network information over the wireless network.
