1. A processor-implemented border gateway protocol (BGP) configuration method, the method comprising:
communicating, by a first peer device, a first BGP information to a second peer device;
receiving, from the second peer device, a second BGP information regarding a BGP connection between the first and second peer devices; and
providing the second BGP information to a BGP auto-configuration service that uses the second BGP information to configure one or more BGP parameters to establish a BGP peering relationship between the first and second peer devices.
