1. A method for a user equipment (UE), the method comprising:
decoding, at the UE, a synchronization signal burst set transmitted from a base station, the synchronization signal burst set comprising a plurality of bursts of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) in series, wherein the plurality of bursts of SSBs includes a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS), and wherein the SSS is not repeated with the synchronization signal burst set that is within a synchronization signal burst set duration; and
synchronizing the UE with the base station based on the plurality of bursts of SSBs within the synchronization signal burst set.
