1. A method for wireless power transfer, the method performed by wireless power transfer device having a wireless power transfer coil, wireless power circuitry coupled to the wireless power transfer coil, and control circuitry that controls the wireless power circuitry, the method comprising:
initiating a cloaking state during which power transfer to or from the wireless power transfer device is temporarily disabled by sending or receiving one or more messages between a wireless power transmitter and a wireless power receiver to start a period during which the wireless power transmitter enters a non-transmitting state.
