1. A memory device, comprising:
a memory array including rewritable memory cells configured to store initial levels of charges representative of preloaded data; and
a memory controller operably coupled to the memory array and configured to:
scan the rewritable memory cells after an environmental stimulus to determine one or more changes in the initial levels of the stored charges, wherein the rewritable memory cells are scanned using a voltage that is offset from an initial read position initially targeted for reading the preloaded data; and
based on the one or more changes in the initial levels, selectively generate a post-deployment message for notifying a user that the preloaded data requires refreshing after the environmental stimulus.
