1. A method comprising:
causing, by a processor, a media content item including a first media overlay to be displayed by a client device, wherein the first media overlay includes a first selectable context item that is selectable while the media content item is being displayed by the client device; and
in response to the media content item being displayed by the client device, causing the client device to display a notification user interface comprising a first selectable item that is associated with the first media overlay, wherein the first selectable item provides access to the first selectable context item post-viewing the media content item.
