1. An electronic device comprising:
a housing including a first housing part and a second housing part configured to movably engage with the first housing part between a first state and a second state of the electronic device;
a flexible display coupled to the first housing part and the second housing part such that a size of an area of the flexible display that is visible from a front side of the housing changes as the housing is moved between the first state and the second state, wherein the first state is a state in which the size of the area of the flexible display that is visible from a front side of the housing is less than a specified size, and the second state is a state in which the size of the area of the flexible display that is visible from a front side of the housing is more than the specified size;
communication circuitry configured to establish a connection with an external device;
at least one processor; and
memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to:
display a first content of an application, on the flexible display,
receive a context generated by the external device,
generate a second content based on the received context and the first content,
determine a position to display the second content based on whether the electronic device is in the first state or the second state, and
display the second content at the determined position.
