1. An electronic watch comprising:
a housing;
a touch screen display coupled to the housing and configured to display graphical content;
a crown positioned along a side of the housing and configured to receive a rotational input;
a shaft coupled to the crown and extending at least partially into the housing;
a crown sensing system configured to:
detect a rotation of the crown; and
determine a location, on the crown, of a user contact resulting in the rotational input, the determination based at least in part on at least one of a deflection of the shaft during the rotational input or a torque imparted to the shaft during the rotational input;
wherein the electronic watch is configured to, in response to detecting the rotation of the crown and in accordance with a determination that the location of the user contact satisfies a location condition, alter the graphical content displayed by the touch screen display based on the detected rotation of the crown.
