1. An information handling system comprising:
a storage device configured to store context data associated with a standby mode for the information handling system; and
an embedded controller configured to communicate with the storage, the embedded controller configured to:
receive the context data from a host operating system of the information handling system, wherein the context data includes data associated with a software deepest runtime identification platform state;
store the context data in the storage device;
in response to a restart of the information handling system, the embedded controller further configured to:
based on the context data, determine a device driver that prevented the information handling system from exiting the standby mode; and
provide an identifier of the device driver to a software service of the host operating system.
