1. A carrier for forming an electrophotographic image, comprising:
a core particle; and
a coating layer coating the core particle, the coating layer containing a chargeable particle,
wherein the carrier has an internal void ratio of 0.0% or greater but less than 2.0% and an apparent density of 2.0 g/cm3 or greater but less than 2.5 g/cm3.
