1. A system for locating an obstruction or leak in a metallic conveyance comprising:
an emitter located inside the conveyance and operable to emit a first acoustic signal between 1 kHz and 24 kHz for a low range and a second acoustic signal between 180 KHz and 220 kHz for a high range through the conveyance;
a receiver located inside the conveyance and operable to receive reflected acoustic signals from the first and second acoustic signals reflecting from the obstruction or leak; and
a processor programmed to analyze the received reflected signals and determine the location of the obstruction or leak in the conveyance.
