1. An apparatus comprising:
a downhole tool comprising an acoustic sensor operable for emitting and receiving acoustic signals to perform downhole measurements; and
a fluid seal assembly comprising:
a sleeve disposed circumferentially around the downhole tool, wherein the sleeve is sufficiently acoustically transparent to pass the emitted and received acoustic signals; and
a first fastener and a second fastener each extending circumferentially around the sleeve proximate respective first and second ends of the sleeve;
wherein the first and second fasteners comprise a shape-memory alloy such that, as a result of increased temperature, circumferences of the first and second fasteners decrease, thereby causing the first and second fasteners to apply a radially inward force to the sleeve to compress the sleeve against an outer surface of the downhole tool.
