1. A clamp body selectively securable to a joint connecting two metal panels of a building surface, comprising:
an upper surface;
a first end spaced from a second end in a longitudinal dimension;
a slot to receive the joint, the slot extending from the first end to the second end and comprising:
a first slot sidewall;
a second slot sidewall;
a slot base between the first slot sidewall and the second slot sidewall; and
a nose that extends into the slot from the second slot sidewall, wherein the second slot sidewall is planar between the nose and the slot base, and wherein the second slot sidewall is fixed relative to the first slot sidewall and the slot base;
a recess that extends through the clamp body from the first end to the second end along a rotation axis that is approximately perpendicular to the first end, the recess including an opening to the slot;
a first aperture that extends through the first slot sidewall to the slot, the first aperture extending along a first axis; and
a second aperture extending through the upper surface and extending along a second axis toward the slot base.
