1. A system for refining lignocellulosic biomass material, the system comprising:
a presteaming bin for presteaming the biomass material;
a dewatering device for dewatering the biomass material, the dewatering device being downstream of the presteaming bin in a biomass material transport direction;
a preheater for preheating the biomass material, the preheater being downstream of the dewatering device in the biomass material transport direction;
a defibrator comprising at least one refining zone configured to refine the biomass material, wherein steam is generated during the refining of the biomass material such that a pressure peak occurs in the refining zone;
a blow pipe for conveying the biomass material away from the refining zone;
a first steam flow path arranged to convey a first portion of the steam flowing away from the pressure peak against the biomass material transport direction from the refining zone to the presteaming bin; and
a second steam flow path arranged to convey a second portion of the steam flowing away from the pressure peak in the biomass material transport direction from the refining zone to the presteaming bin;
wherein the first and second steam flow paths are connected to the refining zone on opposite sides of the pressure peak in the biomass material transport direction; and
wherein the first and second steam flow paths are separate from the blow pipe.
