1. A method of making a solid object from a composition comprising carbon particles dispersed in an organic solvent comprising one or more cresols and, optionally, one or more additional phenol group-containing molecules, wherein at least 90 wt. % of the composition consists of the carbon particles, the one or more cresols, and, if present, the one or more additional phenol group-containing molecules, and further wherein the composition has a viscosity greater than 1000 Pa*S at 298K, the method comprising;
forming the composition into a shape; and
removing the organic solvent from the composition to form the solid object that retains said shape.
