1. An aerolift system comprising:
a propulsion unit configured to move air;
a duct configured to receive the air moved by the propulsion unit into an inlet of the duct, to move the air along a channel of the duct, and to expel the air out of an outlet of the duct, wherein the air is received into the inlet along an inlet axis defined by a first closed cross-sectional profile of the channel at the inlet and the air is expelled through the outlet along an outlet axis defined by a second closed cross-sectional profile of the channel at the outlet, and wherein the inlet axis and the outlet axis define a turn angle therebetween; and
a lifting body configured to receive the air expelled from the outlet of the duct such that the air imparts a lifting force on the lifting body.
