1. A hand-powered jewellery rolling mill comprising:
a support frame;
a pair of opposed parallel cylindrical rollers rotatably mounted to the support frame;
a drive shaft connected to at least one of the rollers for rotation thereof; and
a manually rotatable handle for providing a drive force to the drive shaft; further comprising
an input shaft, rotatable by the manually rotatable handle, the input shaft having a worm and wherein a worm-to-gear coupling transfers torque from the input shaft to the drive shaft,
wherein the drive shaft is coaxial with one of the cylindrical rollers and a rotary coupling is provided between the drive shaft and an axle of the roller, and
wherein the rotary coupling is a tongue and groove coupling formed in opposed radial faces of the drive shaft and the axle.
