1. A method of treating ovarian cancer and/or cervical cancer in a subject, comprising administering to the subject in need of such treatment an effective amount of a vegetable oil-derived polyol as an anti-cancer agent, said vegetable oil-derived polyol being a linseed oil-derived polyol.
