1. An ocular implant system, comprising:
an ocular implant comprising an elongate core member,
wherein the elongate core member comprises an outer surface, and
wherein the elongate core member comprises a plurality of helical or spiral flow channels defined along the outer surface of the elongate core member; and
a delivery instrument, comprising:
a hand-held component; and
an elongated applier operatively coupled to the hand-held component wherein the elongated applier has an internal lumen and wherein the ocular implant is positioned inside the internal lumen, the elongated applier having a proximal region aligned with a longitudinal axis of the hand-held component and a distal region curved away from the longitudinal axis, wherein the delivery instrument is configured to:
pass the ocular implant across the anterior chamber past the scleral spur near the ciliary body of the eye towards the supraciliary space opposite the incision in the cornea; and
position the ocular implant from inside the anterior chamber such that a proximal end of the ocular implant is in the anterior chamber and a distal end of the ocular implant is in fluid communication with the supraciliary space.
