1. A method for visualization or pre-procedure planning utilizing virtual reality (VR) for transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure, or left atrial appendage (LAA) closure device procedure, or atrial fibrillation ablation procedure, comprising the steps of:
providing a computer-based hardware and a software configured with a virtual reality headset and sensors, wherein said software adapted to be used with a gaming engine and object-oriented programming in said virtual reality headset display environment;
providing a patient's computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images for the procedure;
segmenting and volume rendering said patient's computed tomography (CT) or medical resonance imaging (MRI) to create an appropriate anatomic 3-dimensional (3D) region of interest (ROI);
programing said computer based hardware and software with an application configured and programmed with pre-created virtual device models with the ability to interact with said 3-dimensional (3D) region of interest (ROI) for aiding in transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure, or left atrial appendage (LAA) closure device procedures, or atrial fibrillation ablation procedures; and
utilizing said hardware and software configured with a virtual reality headset and sensors for visualization or pre-procedure planning in said virtual reality headset display environment for transcutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure, or left atrial appendage (LAA) closure device procedure, or atrial fibrillation ablation procedure, utilizing said virtual reality (VR) headset and sensors.
