1. A display panel, comprising:
a base substrate having a pixel area and a peripheral area adjacent to the pixel area;
a light emitting element array on the base substrate, the light emitting element array including a light emitting element to generate a blue light and overlapping the pixel area, and a transparent substrate overlapping the pixel area and the peripheral area;
a light control layer on the light emitting element to convert the blue light into a white light; and
a color filter layer on the light control layer, the color filter layer comprising a first color filter that allows penetration of the blue light, a second color filter that allows penetration of a red light different from the blue light, and a third color filter that allows penetration of a green light different from the blue light and the red light,
wherein the light control layer directly disposed on the transparent substrate.
