8. An integrated circuit configured, when included in a user equipment, to cause the user equipment to perform:
receiving, from a base station, downlink control information including an index indicating a first modulation order, a second modulation order, and a transport block size;
receiving a transport block from the base station and determining whether the transport block is received in a partial subframe or in a complete subframe of a defined length, and
using the second modulation order for the transport block determined to be received in the partial subframe, wherein the second modulation order is higher than the first modulation order which is used for the transport block received in the complete subframe.
