1. A solar tracker comprising:
a torque tube;
a plurality of bearings configured to receive the torque tube, the bearings defining one or more openings disposed about the torque tube;
a plurality of piers each configured to receive one of the plurality of bearings;
a rotatable cam in communication with a cam follower; and
one or more pins forming part of a lock-out device and coupled to the cam follower, wherein rotation of the rotatable cam causes the one or more pins to
engage and disengage with the one or more openings formed in the plurality of bearings to limit movement of the torque tube and to transfer load from the torque tube to the pier on which it is mounted.
