1. A power converter comprising:
a first capacitor;
a second capacitor coupled in series with the first capacitor; and
a fourth capacitor,
wherein a first switch, the first capacitor, the second capacitor and a second switch are coupled in series between a power supply node and a reference node,
wherein a third switch, the fourth capacitor, and a fourth switch are coupled in series between the reference node and an output node,
wherein the power converter is configured to:
during a first phase, charge the first and second capacitors by a supply voltage (VDD) so that a voltage across terminals of each of the first and second capacitors is substantially equal to half the supply voltage, and turn on the first, second, third and fourth switches; and
during a second phase, discharge the second capacitor to the third capacitor, and turn off the first, second, third and fourth switches.
