1. A light guide plate device, comprising:
an incident surface configured to receive light from a light source; and
at least one optical path changer at a predetermined position on a back surface perpendicular to the incident surface, the at least one optical path changer being configured to reflect light incident through the incident surface and guided to be emitted through an emission surface parallel to the back surface, wherein
the light guide plate device causes light reflected by the at least one optical path changer to form an image in a space including the back surface,
the light guide plate device forms a formed image including a near formed image at an imaging position within a predetermined distance from the back surface and a distant formed image at an imaging position more distant than the predetermined distance from the back surface, and the near formed image includes an image formation area with a larger total area than an image formation area of the distant formed image; and
the predetermined distance is set such that the image formation area of the near formed image with the larger total area, is larger than the image formation area of the distant formed image to reduce distortion in the formed image due to a change in a viewpoint from which the formed image is viewed in a direction parallel to a light incidence direction of the light from the light source.
