1. A method for examining a clinched portion of a tubular body, comprising steps of: giving an elastic vibration to a clinched body formed by clinching a tubular body with a clinch-target member while the clinched body is in contact with a vibration source; and acquiring, for each of a plurality of view areas which differ from each other in a position in a circumferential direction of the tubular body, a vibration distribution optically and simultaneously measured within the view area including a clinched portion of the tubular body and the clinch-target member, to determine whether or not a state of clinching is satisfactory over the entire clinched portion.
