14. A computer-implemented method comprising:
sending, from a first processor in an apparatus to a second processor in the apparatus, a first set of instructions;
sending, from the second processor to the first processor, a first signal to direct the first processor to deactivate;
setting a first timer to a first time interval;
transitioning the second processor to a sleep mode for the first time interval, wherein the sleep mode consumes less electrical power than a wake mode;
determining the first timer has expired;
transitioning the second processor from the sleep mode to the wake mode;
acquiring, using the second processor, sensor data from one or more sensors of the apparatus;
determining, using the second processor, that the sensor data is to be sent to an external device;
sending, from the second processor to the first processor, a second signal to direct the first processor to activate;
sending the sensor data from the second processor to the first processor;
receiving, at the first processor, the sensor data; and
sending the sensor data from the first processor to the external device using a wifi interface of the apparatus.
